Four Vines is a winery on the move. If you have seen them at wine shows or met them, you will see they are not modeling themselves after the classic idea of a winery or vineyard.
In the video, you will hear from Christian (and Sam the asst wine maker) that they are pushing boundaries and stylizing wine that is climate responsible. For instance they do a lot with Spanish/Rhone varietals in the Paso Robles area. Then Christian also introduces us to the idea of contrasting cool vs. warm climate Syrah. This whole video was shot on a special day where they offered barrel samples of 6 wines.
And if the wine in the bottle does not grab your attention, the bottle artwork will. And what is the most endearing is that every bottle of wine and its artwork is carefully designed and has a great story to compliment it.
Their tasting room and overall facility is open and is getting close to completion, so make sure to throw them on your list of places to visit.
